Sloths Of The Jaguar Rescue Center

I visited Costa Rica in 2014 as part of a 6-week trip across Central America, and there was one thing that I couldn’t wait to see –  a sloth! I’m a huge animal lover, so there was no chance I was going to visit Costa Rica without seeing one of these furry tree dwellers. Monteverde Extremo: Zip Lining

There are several spots to zip line in Central America, however none better than Monteverde, home to the highest zip line cables throughout Latin America. I hadn’t really contemplated just how high this was when I signed up, but I’m thrilled I got a chance to do this as I absolutely love zip lining! Sarapiqui River: White Water Rafting 

The Sarapiqui River is located in the Arenal and La Fortuna area of Costa Rica, and is a popular spot for white water rafting. The rapids are a grade 3-4, so perfect for adventurous first time rafters, but those more experienced adrenaline junkies are still guaranteed to have an exhilarating day out along the 12 km of river track.
